Founder & President
Wife, Mom, USAF Veteran, Military Spouse, Age-Grouper~
In an effort to grow the participation of women in the sport of triathlon, I wanted to start an organization that provides financial resources to first-timers. My professional background is in aviation so starting a non-profit is outside my comfort zone, but if triathlon has taught me anything - it's that I'm capable of far more than I ever dreamed possible. I have been doing triathlon for 9 years and I hope to continue doing it forever. The sport has changed my life in the best way~
Vice President & Treasurer
I am a military wife and stay-at-home mom. I competed in my first triathlon in 2012. It was an all-female sprint triathlon. That one race changed my life. I discovered a strength I never knew I had. Now I am an advocate for women participating in triathlons. My mission is to introduce triathlons to every woman that has a desire to participate. By being able to pay for a first-timer's race registration, we remove one of the biggest barriers that stops women from pursuing that dream or "bucket list" item of competing in a triathlon.
I am a military wife, nurse and mom of 2 teenage boys and 2 rescue dogs. I did my first triathlon back in 1997, and took a little hiatus with school and moving. After having my second child, I entered back into the triathlon world at Irongirl Columbia, an all women's race and it sparked a life long love for the sport. I remember being so incredibly nervous that race day, but the support of my family and the venue was incredible. I think all women should get to feel like rockstars crossing that finish line. I want to help other women realize their dreams of becoming triathletes. If we can help pay for a registration, they are one step closer to that finish line.
